Kageyama Tobio
Kageyama initially came out as a typical overpowering perfectionist who was only concerned with winning and utterly disregarded his teammates’ ideas and well-being. His tendency of whining about their performance and yelling commands at them earned him the moniker “King of the Court” among the Kitagawa Daiichi players, a constant reminder of his oppressive, egocentric attitude during his junior high volleyball career.
He is, however, far more sensitive and infantile than he appears to be to the majority of his classmates and acquaintances; he simply does not know how to regulate his irritation and thus displays his ideas and feelings in an improper manner. After everyone in Kitagawa Daiichi had had enough of him, they left his side.
