Aizawa Shota is the teacher in charge of class 1-A’s homeroom. He always appears exhausted, but he despises wasting time. Eraserhead is a Hero whose Quirk Erasure is to neutralise the Quirks of others as long as they are in his line of sight. His Quirk deactivates if he blinks, hence he wears goggles all the time to prevent foes from figuring out whose quirk he’s nullifying, successfully generating confusion. When he uses his Quirk repeatedly, it causes him to have dry eyes, which prevents him from using it for a long period.

He is mostly motivated by reasoning, and he makes an effort not to be self-conscious about his appearance. When it comes to his ideals and explanations about things, he is direct and very flatlined. When he has a strong conviction, he will express it without hesitation. He comes across as chilly and disinterested, with little energy and a habit of allowing his students to handle problems on their own.

Despite his lackadaisical personality, Shota appears to care deeply about his students and will go to great measures to defend them from harm. He was unafraid to react to the Villains’ presence at both the USJ and the Field Trip lodge.
