Mai Sakurajima
Mai is a serious person, especially when it comes to Sakuta Azusagawa. She is a type B tsundere, which means she isn’t harsh by nature, but she might get irritated and come across as snappy or hyper when Sakuta does or says anything obscene. She frequently answers to Sakuta’s openly vulgar remarks about her by pinching, slapping, or treading on his foot, although she sometimes get flustered and her tsundere act falls apart. Mai prefers to ignore and suppress negative emotions rather than confronting them. Sakuta frequently emphasises that she is “dishonest,” frequently lying about her emotions. She and Sakuta enjoy mocking each other, yet despite her sarcasm, she is a good person who is even shy around Sakuta’s jokes.
